Planting

Planting

Choosing plants does not start from a catalogue. It starts from the garden's light, soil and the time you want to spend on it.

Plants chosen for the site

We put the plant list together after assessing light, soil and exposure to wind. We choose varieties that stay strong in the garden's conditions and will not outgrow their place in a few years.

Planting and establishment

Planting is done with a proper pit, soil improvement, staking and thorough settling in. A mulch layer holds moisture and keeps weeds down, and we set out the watering routine for the first weeks in writing.

Frequently asked questions

Container-grown plants can go in almost all year, but early spring and autumn are the safest. In cooler weather the roots establish better and less watering is needed.

We work with trusted Hungarian nurseries and inspect the plants before they are delivered to site. If a variety is not available in the right quality, we propose an agreed alternative.

The first season matters most: regular watering, topping up the mulch and a few rounds of weeding. From the second year on, the planting generally holds up with minimal intervention.

We provide a 12-month plant guarantee after handover, provided the agreed watering and care routine is followed. Any plants that die are replaced in the next planting season.
